Dr Ehsan Noroozinejad is Global Challenge Lead (Sustainable Futures) and Senior Research at Western Sydney University's Urban Transformations Research Centre, leading research on smart, resilient and net zero construction, digital twins and modular housing.

Dr Noroozinejad founded and directs the Resilient Structures Research Group and holds visiting appointments with UBC and Imperial College London. He supports standards and practice through ISO technical working groups, Standards Australia committees, FIB (fib) and ASCE technical committees, and other relevant national and international expert panels. His work has been significantly featured by major media outlets including ABC News, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Sky News, The Conversation and SMH.
